My Story
After owning three businesses including a beauty salon, skin clinic and spa, I decided to change direction so that I could home-school one of my daughters. During this time, I retrained as a swim teacher and coach specialising in additional needs children.
When I had finished home-educating my daughter, I returned to my practice. Initially, I started a small training academy to share my knowledge with beauty professionals and I developed a private college and skin clinic to help regulate the industry.
During lockdown and the difficult months that followed, I invested in my education and sat three level 4 qualifications, including updating my laser qualification and skin blemish removal skills, as well as studying for the Certificate in Education. I then followed this with the Diploma in Education at Level 5, Level 5 Aesthetic Practice, Level 5 Advanced Skin Blemish, Level 6 Mesotherapy and now studying Level 7 Aesthetics.
2005 is proving to be a very exciting year. I was entered for Advanced Electrologist of the Year. This is an International Industry Awards Ceremony and I became one of only 7 finalists. I had to travel to London for a panel of 8 judges to inspect the standard of my practice ,and was invited to the awards evening. Sadly, I wasn’t chosen, but one of my colleagues was the winner, and I am so very proud of her.
I am also trained as a phlebotomist and an NHS vaccinator. I have just renewed my phlebotomy training and upgraded to a Level 3 recognised qualification. I am proud to work in vaccination centres across Portsmouth, Havant, and Waterlooville. I am also First Aid and Emergency First Aid trained.
My Approach
I am a caring individual who has progressed through my own career development to achieve my dreams and help others gain excellent training and education. I have a wonderful private clinical practice that, in my patients’ words, “changes their lives”.
My passion is to help people feel better about themselves and to shine with confidence.
